Our Mission & Philosophy

Our mission is to help our patients achieve optimal oral health and enjoy beautiful healthy smiles for a lifetime. In following our mission, our long term strategies and short term actions will be guided by a set of core beliefs that are shared by each team member.
Our Promises to You our Patient:
We are committed to improving the oral health and well being of our family of patients by delivering exceptional dental care through education, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral disease.

We are committed to treating the causes of dental disease rather than simply the effects.

We are committed to providing choices and treatment options to our patients for the level of treatment they are interested.

We believe every patient has infinite worth and will serve those patients with compassion and kindness.

We will act with integrity in the way we deliver care and the way we live our lives.

Communication, mutual respect and the doctor-patient relationship are a priority.

We believe successful dental care involves not only the mouth, but nutrition, whole body wellness, and the patient’s participation.

We believe in personal growth for the doctor, team, and patients.

We trust our colleagues as valuable members of our health care team and pledge to treat one another with loyalty, respect, and dignity.

Our Office Facility

Infection Control
All things we do is driven by our attention to detail. For the protection of our patients and our team, our practice utilizes a system to ensure effectiveness of our sterilization procedures. Dr. Buttross and our entire team follow procedures recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Everyone benefits from rigorous infection control — you, your dentist, and the dental team.

Our office takes every precaution to prevent cross-contamination and promote infection control:

      • Weekly biological monitoring of our sterilization system
      • Autoclave sterilization system for each dental handpiece
      • Multi-process sterilization for all dental instruments
      • Use of disposable products
      • Separate water supply for each dental unit: Handpiece, Water and Air Systems
      • Purging and disinfection system for each water line to each dental unit.

Some of the increased costs in dentistry come from the commitment to infection control.

Almost all of our efforts are done before you arrive and you see only the end result.

We take pride in the level of care we provide to our patients and having proper sterilization systems in place is just one aspect of the care you will receive and come to expect.
