Welcome to our office! We understand that choosing a dentist and a dental health team can be a challenge. We appreciate the opportunity to provide you with the highest level of care in a patient-centered, private care environment. You will discover that our small team of professionals is not only friendly, but knowledgeable and dedicated to making your dental experience a positive one. The team and I welcome you to our unique private care practice. We are committed to helping you maintain a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles.
Since we are goal oriented in our approach, and it is slightly different than most dental offices, we would like to acquaint you with our practice goals. Our number one goal is to help you achieve optimal oral health and keep your teeth for life. We believe in developing enjoyable relationships with our patients based on sharing information honestly on all oral conditions and development of treatment that is in your best interest. I believe you should be completely informed of the advantages and disadvantages of treatment alternatives so that you may make a choice that suits you. We strongly believe in developing an achievable plan of prevention and correction prior to starting treatment. We believe that you will like our approach. It is simple, honest, and direct; it is less costly in the long run because with good planning, we know where we are going before we begin. My practice exists to serve my patients. I believe people want no dentistry or as little dentistry as possible, I am dedicated to serving those patients who make the commitment to become healthy.

Your comprehensive dental exam where your “teeth are checked” actually is much, much more. It is a process, which together you and Dr. Buttross discover what the current state of health is in your mouth. Dr. Buttross will perform a risk assessment of your gum health, check teeth and fillings for disease and weakness, look for worn teeth, evaluate muscle and jaw joint function, and complete a thorough soft tissue and oral cancer exam. She will gather the necessary radiographs (x-rays), photographs, diagnostic models, and jaw records. These comprehensive records combined with your overall concerns and goals will help Dr. Buttross provide choices and treatment options for the level of treatment you are interested in.
If you are an existing patient of record with Dr. Buttross and have not had the opportunity to go through this process, please contact our office to let us know. We would be happy to schedule time with you to experience the same thing we currently offer all our new patients. We think you’ll like the changes we’ve made.
“Together we will create a plan for your mouth: a plan that will fit together well, improve your oral health and lessen your risk for future dental problems.”
Dr. Buttross believes she can only care for one patient at a time, therefore, we do not schedule multiple patients at a time. This allows Dr. Buttross to give you 100% of her undivided attention to you when you have an appointment scheduled. Dr. Buttross feels your time is as valuable as hers and is dedicated to staying on schedule. She manages her time so you do not have to worry about yours. Your scheduled appointment has been reserved exclusively for you. Please help us by arriving promptly for your appointment. We request a 48 business-hour notice should you need to change your reserved time. We are committed to your care and hope you share our enthusiasm.
